Stepping in flexibly during a critical period for Fairphone’s webshop migration, I picked up the project after it had gone without a dedicated front-end developer for some time. My focus was supporting migration tasks and quickly resolving frontend challenges—enabling the launch of Fairphone’s new Odoo Commerce platform, complete with improved ERP integration.

Key Contributions

• Rapid Onboarding & Flexible Support: Joined the project at short notice to address urgent frontend needs, bridging a gap in development capacity and ensuring smooth transition from Magento 2 to Odoo Commerce.
• UI/UX Enhancements: Optimized crucial user journeys, including checkout, product configurator, and login/account creation, with close attention to Fairphone’s brand and conversion goals.
• Continuous Improvement: Collaborated with stakeholders, mapped user journeys, and participated in A/B testing to refine the webshop experience.
• Agile Collaboration: Worked as part of a cross-disciplinary team to support transparency, deliverability, and ongoing knowledge sharing.

Outcome

My flexible involvement helped ensure Fairphone’s migration timelines were met and contributed to building a user-centric, high-performance webshop ready for future product campaigns.
